Aglaonema Pink Plant

The Pink Aglaonema plant, also known as Chinese Evergreen, is a popular indoor plant with lovely ornamental leaves. It belongs to the Araceae plant family and genus Aglaonema. It is one of the most simple indoor plants to maintain. It has stunning colorful foliage that looks lovely in any interior setting.

It is an indoor plant because it is an air-purifying plant. It is known to cleanse the impurities in the environment. It has heart-shaped leaves. The dark green leaves of the aglaonema pink plant are splashed with striking pink and white variations. Plant it in a dark-colored pot to elevate the beauty of the plant. Aglaonemas come as a hardy, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance indoor plant.

Care Guide

  • These pink aglaonemas are easy to care for and only require repotting every two years.
  • These striking pink beauties prefer low interior light, hence like to be near a window. Closer to a window is the optimum location for the Chinese Evergreen. He will, however, be equally content anyplace he can obtain indirect low light.
  • Keep the soil of your aglaonema plant moist but not soggy, and don’t let it dry out completely.
  • Every four months or so, feed your aglaonema pink with half-strength indoor plant fertilizer.
  • When your plant’s pot grows big, transfer it into a larger container with new soil. When the plant is actively developing in the spring or summer, this is the perfect time to perform the procedure.

Growing Guide of Pink Aglaonema Plant

  • Darker green varieties can be grown in partial shade, whereas variegated varieties need more light.
  • You should avoid direct sun exposure. It can harm the leaves severely.
  • In the summer, water generously and mist frequently to increase humidity. Reduce watering over the winter, but don’t allow the plant entirely to dry up. Attempt to increase the humidity level in general.
  • They dislike chilly drafts and temperatures below 18 degrees Celsius. The higher the temperature, the better.
  • These pink plants require well-draining potting soil.
  • During the growing season, you can use a liquid or organic fertilizer.
